About the ministry
Our Women’s Ministry offers Bible study, Christ-centered fellowship, and creative opportunities to encourage one another through monthly outings, missionary support, prayer, and our Secret Sister ministry.
Bible Studies
Sunday Evening at 6:00 p.m. at church
Ladies Day Out
Fun activities are planned about once a month on a weekday or Saturday that may include a tour of local attractions, shopping, breakfast, lunch, or dinner out, coffee n’ conversation at church, or movie nights. New activities are always being planned.
Missionary Fellowship
Meets once a month on the third Tuesday night at church, at a park in the summer, or someone’s home. Emphasis changes yearly but always centered around our missionaries that are close to home or around the world. Time is dedicated to praying for them and their families. College care packages are also assembled by this group of women, birthday/anniversary cards are organized and mailed to our missionaries and their families, and our FBC secret sister ministry, which is always a highlight, is organized by this group of women.
Secret Sister
Many women participate in this ministry of encouragement each year. Revealing your secret sister identity at the December Missionary Fellowship Christmas Party is part of the excitement of the evening. Drawings are held at the end of this Christmas party for the next year.
